Together, we bring expertise, lived experience, and a shared commitment to creating lasting change through leadership, wellness, economic mobility, and community. 

Saretta Raheel, MBA
Chief Executive Officer

Saretta Raheel is a results-driven nonprofit executive and CEO of The Right Kind of Black Girl, bring more than a decade of leadership experience in nonprofit management, operations, strategic growth, and community development. She has led high-impact initiatives throughout the Bay Area, securing multimillion-dollar funding, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening organizations to create lasting community impact. Grounded in equity, collaboration, and innovation, she is committed to advancing opportunities through sustainable, mission-driven leadership. She holds bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Journalism, a master's degree in Public Relations, an MBA, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Communications. 

Margaret Bordeaux
​Operations Lead

Margaret Bordeaux is TRKBG's Operations Lead and a health and justice advocate whose personal and professional experience informs her work with individuals and communities impacted by social inequities, substance use, and criminal legal system. She specializes in gender-responsive and culturally responsive approaches that advance wellness, system change, and equitable access to care. A collaborative and strategic leader, she is dedicated to strengthening organizational operations while promoting accountability, innovation, and meaningful community impact. 

Board of Directors 

TRKBG's Board of Directors is composed of accomplished leaders from diverse sectors, including education, healthcare, mental health, business, technology, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement. United by shared commitment to expanding opportunities for Black girls and women, our Board provides the strategic guidance, governance, and stewardship that strengthen our organization and advance our mission. 
Through integrity, accountability, and thoughtful leadership, Board members help space organizational strategy, strengthen partnerships, ensure responsible governance, and position TRKBG for long-term sustainability and lasting community impact. 

​Shambria Williams, MSW

Shambria Williams is the Founder and Board President of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG), a dedicated advocate and community leaders committed to advancing equity and creating pathways for underserved communities to thrive. Through her leadership, she has built initiatives centered on healing, empowerment, and sustainable community impact. 
​Born and raised in Southern California, Shambria brings more than eight years of nonprofit leadership experience, including work that helped expand access to essential resources for more than 100,000 children throughout California. Her commitment to advocacy is shaped by both her professional expertise and lived experience navigating communities impacted by systemic inequities. 
Shambria earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology with an emphasis in Law and Society from California State University, Los Angeles, and a master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in Community Organization and Business Innovation from the University of Southern California. She continues to lead TRKBG's mission of creating opportunities for Black girls and women to heal, grow, lead, and thrive. 

Shondrea Harroon, PhD

Dr. Shondrea Harroon serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG). She is an executive leader, community advocate, and transformational strategist dedicated to advancing the well-being, leadership, and empowerment of Black women and girls. 
With a doctorate in Healthcare Administration and extensive experience in healthcare operations, systems design, and organizational strategy. Dr. Harroon brings a unique blend of strategic expertise and compassionate leadership. Throughout her career, she has guided teams, strengthened operational systems, and supported individuals and organizations through meaningful growth and transformation.
At TRKBG, Dr. Harroon contributes strategic insight, healthcare expertise, and a deep commitment to creating equitable spaces where Black women and girls are supported, celebrated, and empowered to thrive. 

Destineé Mitchell, MPA

Destineé Mitchell serves as Board Secretary for The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is an accomplished community engagement leader with experience developing initiatives that strengthen relationships between organizations and the community they serve.
Based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Destineé specializes in strategic outreach, program and event management, stakeholder engagement, and organizational initiatives that advance equity and inclusion. Her work reflects a deep commitment to creating meaningful connections, expanding opportunities, and supporting community-centered solutions. 
Destineé holds a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy and Management from Bowie State University. Through her service with TRKBG, she brings expertise in engagement strategy, public policy, and organizational development to help advance the organization's mission and impact. 

Michellea Millis Rucker, PhD

Dr. Michellea "Redbird" Millis Rucker serves as a Board Member of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is the Founder and CEO of Transforming Our Practice, LLC, where she specializes in transformational coaching, leadership development, facilitation, and strategic consulting. 
With more than 26 years of experience in education, nonprofit leadership, and organizational development, Dr. Rucker brings deep expertise in building inclusive cultures, strengthening leaders, and advancing equity-centered practices. Her work focuses on helping individuals and organizations align values, actions, and strategies to create meaningful and sustainable impact. 
Through her service with TRKBG, Dr. Rucker contributes her expertise in education, leadership development, and community transformation to support environments where Black girls and women are affirmed, empowered, and equipped to lead with confidence and purpose. 

Ashley Sailor

Ashley Sailor serves as a Board Member of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is a community advocate with experience in nonprofit services, organizational leadership, and strategic engagement. A California native, Ashley has dedicated years to supporting initiatives that strengthen communities and create opportunities for meaningful impact. 
Ashley holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership and brings more than eight years of experience as a Product Advisor with Southern California Gas Company. Her professional background spans management consulting, real estate, fashion, entertainment, and organizational operations, providing a diverse perspective on leadership and growth. 
Through her service with TRKBG, Ashley contributes strategic insight, operational expertise, and a passion for advancing opportunities that empower Black girls and women.  

Tamorra Sims

Tamorra Sims serves as a Board Member of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is a servant leader with expertise in operational excellence, organizational growth, and team development. With more than a decade of professional experience, she has led initiatives that strengthen operations, improve engagement and create sustainable results. 
Known for her innovative and purpose-driven leadership, Tamorra brings experience in strategy, process improvement, staff development, and building inclusive environments where people can thrive. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in empowerment, resilience, and the belief that challenges can become opportunities for meaningful growth. 
​Through her service with TRKBG, Tamorra contributes strategic insight, operational expertise, and a commitment to advancing equity and creating opportunities for Black girls and women. 

Busayo Odunlami, EMBA

Busayo Odunlami serves as a Board Member of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is a global transformation leader with more than 14 years of experience in consulting, enterprise transformation, digital strategy, and innovation. Throughout his career, he has advised organizations and executive leaders on large-scale initiatives that translate complex strategies into sustainable impact. 
As a technology and innovation strategist, Busayo brings expertise in organizational transformation, future-focused solutions, and building systems that expand opportunity. He is also the Co-Founder of the Billion Strong Foundation, an organization focused on equipping undeserved youth with digital fluency and skills for an evolving world.
Through his service wit TRKBG, Busayo contributes strategic insight, innovation expertise, and a commitment to advancing equity and creating pathways of opportunity for underserved communities. 

Alesha Harmon, PhD

Dr. Alesha Harmon serves as a Board Member of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is an award-winning education and community leader dedicated to expanding opportunity and access for women, children, and families. As Chief Engagement and Insight Officer at a diverse-by-design school in Nashville, Tennessee, she leads initiatives focused on family engagement, inclusive culture, and creating environments where students feel valued and supported. 
​With a career rooted in education, equity, and community impact, Dr. Harmon brings expertise in relationship-building, organizational culture, and community partnerships. She has served in leadership roles with organizations including Women Who Rock Nashville, the YMCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, A to Z Learning, and Women's Cable. 
Through her service with TRKBG, Dr. Harmon contributes her expertise in education, belonging, and leadership development to help create affirming spaces where Black girls and women are empowered to embrace their identity, purpose, and potential. 

Lorre Hendricks

Lorre Hendricks serves as a Board Member of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is a transformative leader with experience in military service, social work, organizational governance, and community-centered leadership. Throughout her career, she has focused on strengthening institutions, supporting families, and creating sustainable solutions that improve the lives of those she serves. 
Lorre brings expertise in governance, professional development, civic engagement, and service-based leadership. She is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and has served in leadership roles supporting community engagement and organizational development. She is also involved with Blacks in Government, where she contributes to professional advancement and effective governance initiatives. 
Lorre holds a Master of Social Work from University of Southern California, a Master of Science in Counseling, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Through her service with TRKBG, she contributes a deep commitment to equity, advocacy, and creating opportunities for Black women, girls, families, and communities to thrive. 

LaTasha Williams, MHC-LP

LaTasha Williams serves as a Board Member of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is a mental health professional, entrepreneur, and leadership strategist with more than 14 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has provided executive leadership, strategic  direction, and program oversight to strengthen community-based mental health services and expand organizational impact.
Grounded in wellness, sustainability, and empowerment, LaTasha brings expertise in mental health, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. She is the Founder of Legacy in Motion, where  she supports families through entrepreneurship, ownership, and legacy-building opportunities.
​Through her service with TRKBG, LaTasha contributes a commitment to healing, economic empowerment, and creating affirming spaces where Black girls and women are supported, valued, and encouraged to define and pursue their own paths to success. 

Saraa Doris L. Lee, LCSW
Board Member

Saraa Doris L. Lee serves as a Board Member of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, psychotherapist, and Founder of Soul Spa Psychotherapy, a virtual practice specializing in trauma, relationships, and emotional wellness. 
Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Saraa has dedicated her career to advancing mental health, community care, mentorship, and social impact. Her work integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices, culturally grounded healing approaches, and a deep commitment to creating affirming spaces for individuals and families. 
Saraa earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pomona College, received a Fulbright Program award to teach and conduct research in South Korea, and earned her Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her professional experience includes community mental health, child welfare, crisis response, LGBTQ advocacy, and mentorship initiatives. 
Through her service with TRKBG, Saraa contributes clinical expertise, a passion for healing-centered care, and a commitment to supporting Black girls, women, and families as they navigate growth, wellness, and transformation. 

Tyanna Willis-Vanarsdale
​Board Member

Tyanna Willis-Vanarsdale serves as a Board Member of The Right Kind of Black Girl (TRKBG) and is a mental health professional and advocate committed to supporting individuals, families, and communities through compassionate and culturally responsive care. 
Tyanna earned her bachelor's degree from Dillard University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Applied Psychology while serving as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, where her work focuses on healing, emotional wellness, personal growth, and family well-being. 
Through her service with TRKBG, Tyanna brings clinical insight, a commitment to equity, and a passion for creating affirming spaces where Black women and girls can heal, grow, and thrive.
